.NET Developer - Key Skills: ASP.NET / C# / SQL SERVER / MVC /

We are looking for a Applications / Software Developer to join our innovative team.

• Knowledge of ASP.NET, C#, MVC & SQL Server required
• Strong communication skills
• Strong organisational skills

It will be useful to have:

• Knowledge of JavaScript / HTML
• Degree in a computing discipline or similar

The job:

You will be working with our 6-strong IT team on development projects across a variety of different in-house systems using your ASP.NET, C#, MVC & SQL Server skills on a daily basis. You will need to have a working knowledge of these technologies and will be required to maintain existing projects as well as managing, analysing, designing and developing new ventures.

This role will suit someone who has a background in Windows and web-based applications using the .NET framework.

You will have the opportunity to design and develop new and innovative applications for our parcel dispatching software and new internal systems.

It is essential that all candidates have first class communication skills - both written and verbal, must be a team player and well organised, show initiative and have the ability to work effectively under pressure as tight deadlines will need to be met.

You will also learn our existing systems and software and be expected to communicate with existing and new clients on a support basis.

There may also be a requirement to visit clients to set up software applications. In all instances full training and support will be given to the successful candidate.

Working hours are weekdays 0900 - 1730 (negotiable after 3 months).
