2017 Apprentice Winner visits The Garibaldi School
Apprentice star James White delighted school children in Mansfield this week by paying them a visit and doling out career advice.
The founder of Right Time Recruitment spoke to 129 pupils of The Garibaldi School in Forest Town on Wednesday 18th April about his journey, his time on The Apprentice and his new Business Right Time Recruitment and then hosted a question-and-answer session with the youngsters.
James then further provided 36 pupils with tips on CV writing and how to prepare for interviews, urging any pupils who are considering lying on their CV not too as they could get caught out like he did on the Apprentice.
Miss Brindley, Lead Teacher of Business, Finance and Enterprise at The Garibaldi School, stated "It is such a pleasure to have James White to come in and enthuse, motivate and raise aspirations amongst our pupils, he has made such a positive impact on the pupils already!"
James White, Owner of Right Time Recruitment, stated "It was great to visit the students of The Garibaldi School to encourage year 9 & 10 students to start considering their options after leaving school. As a young entrepreneur I think it's vital to pass on valuable knowledge on topics that might not necessarily be focussed on in lessons, such as CV writing tips, preparation for interviews and where to find jobs and what to look for. The students were very engaged and I was very impressed with what they already knew!"
Miss Brindley, Lead Teacher of Business, Finance and Enterprise at The Garibaldi School, stated "It is such a pleasure to have James White come in and enthuse, motivate and raise aspirations amongst our pupils, he has made such a positive impact."
James White of Right Time Recruitment is looking to encourage as many students of schools around the UK to provide them with top tips and advice to help prepare them for their next step after leaving school.
