Right Time Recruitment are currently recruiting a Senior C++ Software Engineer to join their client in Worcester!!

Our client is a rapidly growing and ambitious company providing industry-leading cyber-security software to hundreds of reputable customers. With an exciting and impactful company vision, they are looking to enhance and expand their development team with high-performing C++ development experts.

The right person for the job MUST have:

• 5+ years commercial development experience in C++ including C++11 and STL;
• Proven track record in multiple aspects of software development;
• Excellent communication and team working skills;
• Excellence in Software Engineer Practices;

Desirable:

• Experience in the IT/software industry
• An interest or experience in cyber security and IT security best practices
• Experience with enterprise customers and delivering at-scale solutions
• Knowledge of development tools e.g. Jira, Qt, CMake
• Knowledge of other languages e.g. Java
• Knowledge of operating systems Windows, Linux & macOS
• Knowledge of networking technologies (routers, switches and firewalls)
• Experience with test automation
• Experience or understanding of agile and scrum methodologies

This is an exciting Senior Software Engineer opportunity which involves (but is not limited to):

• On-Spec On-Time delivery of solutions using agile practices
• Assisting in development toolchains selection
