A fantastic opportunity has for an experienced, creative and hardworking Front End Ecommerce Web Developer to join one of the UK's largest transformation programmes, with the primary goal of driving innovation and creating a best in-class experience customers. This transformation project will widely be reported and is likely to become an award-winning and best-in-class programme and one which will add significant weight to your future career profile.

The successful applicant will be a key member of the team, enabling our client to drive change through iterative releases every two weeks.

Key Responsibilities

• Translating requirements and wireframes in to working code that both meets and exceeds customer expectations
• Attending daily stand ups, refinement and planning sessions
• Working closely with our UX team and product managers to understand requirements
• Delivery of quality UI changes across multiple sites
• Collaborating with backend developers and quality engineers on a daily basis in order to maintain a high level of velocity and quality
• Strong knowledge of Java, React, React.JS, HTML, HTML5, CSS and SASS, AJAX, JavaScript, JQuery,
• Solid understanding of user interface / user interaction design
• Experience in responsive web design
• Knowledge and experience with JS frameworks such as NodeJS, Angular/ReactJS or
• Experience integrating web services and RESTful APIs
• An understanding of ATG or Java commerce platforms
• Knowledge of deployment tools such as Jenkins
• Great attitude, strong work ethic, excellent communication skills
• Experience in working collaboratively with backend developers
